Making patients the priority
CPQR programs have been designed in collaboration with experts involved in the planning and delivery of radiation treatment in Canada together with cancer program leaders, provincial cancer agencies and international radiation treatment organizations. Our priority is ensuring that the radiation treatment delivered in Canada remains safe and that cancer centres can learn from the experiences of others to continue to deliver quality care that is world-class. CPQR is committed to ensuring patients are satisfied with the quality of care they are receiving.
Organization in Charge
In 2021, patient-centred initiatives were divested from CPQR to CARO. CARO’s commitment to high quality patient-centred care is reflected in its new role as steward of the patient-centred programs. CARO’s efforts will further enhance and promote the integration of CPQR’s patient engagement, education and outcome guidance into professional practice across the country.
If you have questions or wish more information about any of the above programs, please contact CARO .
